SUMMARY:BPI Building Analyst Technician Training March 16th to March 20th\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:This training program is designed for contractors\, builders\, and utility personnel. The week-long course will help you prepare for BPI’s Building Analyst Technician written and field test which will be administered on the last day of the course. It will open your eyes to a new way of thinking about residential buildings. You will come to understand how the house works as a system\, why some homes fail\, and how to use the latest building science technology to help resolve residential heating\, cooling\, base load and air leakage problems. By using a “whole house” performance-based approach\, you will address a comprehensive range of interrelated building issues and be able to provide your clients with a more comfortable\, safe\, durable\, and energy efficient home. \nFor Jackson EMC Network Contractors\, having a Building Analyst on staff is a basic requirement to maintain your eligibility to offer Jackson EMC low-interest financing and rebates associated with Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® improvements. Jackson EMC will sponsor one contractor per company for Building Analyst training; additional contractors are welcome at $1\,995/person. To verify eligibility\, contact Tiffeny Tolder at TTolder@jacksonemc.com. \nThis will be a Monday through Friday Class running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on site.
